Academic Curriculum

William Academy’s curriculum is carefully designed to provide a well-rounded education that prepares student-athletes for future success. We offer a rigorous academic program that aligns with provincial standards and emphasizes critical thinking, problem-solving, and effective communication skills. Our curriculum covers a wide range of subjects, including mathematics, sciences, languages, social sciences, and humanities. With a focus on personalized instruction and small class sizes, we create an engaging and supportive learning environment. As part of our commitment to academic excellence, students are expected to maintain a minimum 70% overall average. Our classes run from 8:40 AM to 3:50 PM, including lunch and breaks, Monday to Friday, ensuring a comprehensive educational experience. We understand the demands of athletic commitments, and to strike a balance, we expect a maximum of 25 school days to be missed in the school year for players. Through our comprehensive curriculum and academic support systems, we strive to foster intellectual growth and academic success in each of our student-athletes.

6 Sports Management is an organization dedicated to reshaping the landscape of hockey through inclusive and innovative management of hockey franchises and programs. With over three decades of experience in hockey and event management, our team has been at the forefront of fostering growth within the game, developing successful hockey programs, and nurturing talent that has ascended to the National Hockey League (NHL) level. Our portfolio boasts the management of esteemed organizations such as Seaside Hockey, Skillz Hockey, and the Black Hockey Federation, each playing a pivotal role in our mission.

Our mission is to dismantle the barriers within hockey, creating numerous pathways for Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) players, and ensuring advancement opportunities are within reach. We recognize a pressing issue in the realm of hockey: stagnation in growth. To address this, our solution is the formation of a diverse hockey ownership group that mirrors our mission, ensuring representation at every level of the sport.
